Job Responsibilities :
Gains familiarity with cybersecurity engineering concepts, practices and methodologies.
With guidance performs standard cybersecurity engineering duties, including: Assisting with deployment of firewalls, intrusion detection systems and anti-virus software.
Assisting with or performing security tool administration and updates.
Network scanning to identify vulnerabilities.
System modification and upgrade / enhancement.
Incident response (i.e., investigation of incidents, breaches and threats).
Security audit coordination.
Security product evaluation.
Proactively learns about / keeps up to date with security technologies, trends and best practices. •
Assists with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
