2. The method of selection
Three phases make up the SBI PO recruitment selection process:
(I) Preliminary Examination: The preliminary examination, which serves as the initial step in the hiring process, comprises of objective-type inquiries in the areas of English language proficiency, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability. Candidates who pass it act as a screening test and are qualified to take the Main Examination.
(II) Main Examination: The second stage’s Main Examination is divided into an Objective Test and a Descriptive Test. The Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language parts are all part of the Objective Test. The Descriptive Test evaluates applicants’ letter- and essay-writing abilities.
Group Discussion (GD) and Interview (III): Those who pass the main examination are invited to a GD and Interview.
3. The method for applying:
Through the official SBI website, interested individuals may submit an online application for the SBI PO position. In general, the application period starts a few weeks before the test. Candidates must complete an online application form, upload scanned copies of their documents, and pay a non-refundable application fee.
